Spring has sprung! Well almost, and here in Southeast Tennessee just because we think it is supposed to be Spring – that doesn’t mean it is. We could be experiencing anything from snow to 75 degrees depending on what day of the week it is ha ha
Typically at the first hint of warmer temps and sunshine we tend to get into a mode of Spring cleaning. For some that means freshening up the inside of the house and for others they head outside to flower beds, future garden spots, lawn furniture, etc.
There is something to be said for this and we ARE going to get to our finances a little later but for now let’s just concentrate on Spring cleaning. There is something to be said for a clean, organized house; for tending to flowers and plants as we await the signs of their first blooms. You see, there is a correlation between the tidiness of our literal life and our finances so as we head into March go ahead and start those Spring cleaning projects. Put them on your calendar, maybe a project every few days or if it is a little bigger project – one a week. Get them on the calendar and get started!
I’d love to hear from you back over in my Facebook Group (Budgeting Basics-A journey to debt free living) what projects you tackled and how getting them completed makes you feel. Come over and comment on either yesterday’s post or tomorrow’s.
