Time to track

Well, now that you know where you are in your finances the next step is to start creating a plan that is doable for you.  I want us to start with and use accurate numbers so to do that I am asking you to track your spending for 30 days.  Write down EVERYTHING you spend during that time frame, yes EVERY SINGLE PENNY!  You would be surprised at how many people give me their numbers to start with but then after doing this exercise see that the amounts they THOUGHT they were spending are far from how much they ACTUALLY spent!

If you want to work ahead a little bit, while you are tracking expenses for this 30 days go ahead and start creating a Spending Plan/Budget based on estimated numbers.  Obviously you know how much your rent/mortgage is and can use the real number but things like groceries, gas, eating out, etc just do a close guess and use that number.  OR if you just want to get started on this step by filling in the numbers you know for SURE (mortgage/rent, insurance, etc) and then you can finish it after you have the REAL numbers from the 30 day tracking.
